The Zambia Amateur Athletics Association (ZAAA) has set December 28, 2019, as the date to hold its emergency Annual General Meeting at the Lusaka Hotel.
ZAAA general secretary Davison Mung’ambata confirmed the development in a circular issued to the media yesterday stating that all is set for the emergency AGM.
Mr. Mung’ambata said in line with article 6.2(ii) of the ZAAA constitution and in line with the resolutions proposed by the ZAAA executive and approved by the house during the last AGM held in March earlier this year, the association has set December 28 to hold the AGM.
“This AGM will be held in pursuit of article 6.2(ii) of the ZAAA constitution and in line with the resolutions proposed by the ZAAA executive and approved by the house during the last AGM held in March earlier this year,” Mung’ambata said.
He said top on the Agenda will be the financial report for the year ending December 31, 2017, and the amendments to the 1998 constitution.
Mr. Mung’ambata said also in the agenda will be the activity calendar for the year 2020 among other items that will be raised on other items.
Delivering of the financial report for the year 2017, the amendments of the 1998 constitution and the activity calendar for the year 2020 among other items will be top of the agenda,” he added.
He concluded by requesting that members show up on time for the AGM in order to tackle all issues lined up on the agenda on time.
