Pompi breaks silence with “Greater” Anthem

Two years have passed without any music to his name, but Gospel Music Artiste Chaka Nyatando, famously known as Pompi, has released a new single and music video titled “Greater.”

The song, which features the Vessels of Honor, was released to the public via various streaming platforms on Monday, August 4, 2025.

In his song, Mr. Nyatando pays homage to the power of God, declaring that it is greater than anything else, while also acknowledging the Lord’s protection.

“I take it to prayer because I know your hand is greater. You are my protector, nothing can break us. I declare provision and favor, and I trust in your deliverance,” he sang.

Mr. Nyatando described “Greater” as a touching and powerful gospel anthem that speaks to faith, resilience, and spiritual encouragement.

“With heartfelt lyrics and rich African gospel fusion, this inspiring song reminds us that God’s purpose for our lives is far greater than our current struggles,”he added.

“Whether you’re in need of motivation, encouragement, or simply want to worship, Greater will uplift your spirit and strengthen your faith.”

Mr. Nyatando further expressed joy at the way the song is touching many lives, judging by the feedback from fans.

“Wow! So many lives are being touched by Greater. God is doing something powerful through this song,”he said.

Meanwhile, gospel fans and netizens have congratulated and praised Mr. Nyatando for the new release, describing it as a powerful and touching piece.

“Zambian gospel music is in safe hands. Chairman Pompi, this is it. Thank you for this powerful piece of music,” commented, Justin Nkata.
