NKANA ELEVATES CHAKATAZYA

Nkana Football Club Manager Charles Chakatazya has been appointed as Acting Club Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Chakatazya takes over from Kenny Mwansa who left the club after his contract expired.

The new CEO, also who is a former Banker, has been Nkana FC Team Manager since 2011 and brings with him vast knowledge on football management.

Club President Everisto Kabila and his executive committee are confident that Chakatazya is equal to the task and will execute his duties well as club

CEO in the acting capacity.

“ I would like to urge my executive committee members to give Chakatazya all the support in his new role and I would like to urge them to continue being committed and working hard for the benefit of the club and Zambian football as a whole,” Kabila said.

He also sent his well wishes to the outgoing CEO and hopes for the best in his future endeavors.

“I would further take this opportunity on behalf of my executive committee and indeed my own behalf, to wish Kenny Mwansa all the best in his

future endeavors,” He said, ” This is a man that has serviced the club for a long time with all his football knowledge and experience, we will definitely continue to call upon him for guidance on many issues as he (Mwansa) will always be a Nkana FC member.”

Meanwhile, Junior Nkana Team Manager Jeremiah Chishimba, will act as team manager for the senior team while Junior Nkana Assistant Coach Billy Mwansa will work alongside him and act as Manager for the youth team.

Club Accountant, Kapwepwe Mutale will continue with his role as accountant.
