Tracy B unleashes new album

Tracy B says, “My new album will intensify the message my first album carried. My first album was mainly about worshipping and praising God. But when you listen to my new album, it includes songs that preach the gospel… It also talks about many societal problems such as poverty.” UPCOMING gospel artist Tracy Moonga popularly known as Tracy B, has released her second solo album dubbed ‘Tracy B Reloaded.’

Tracy B released her first album, ‘Ba Lesa Abene’ (God Owns All) last year.

She has decided to call her latest album ‘Reloaded’ because she believes it amplifies the message carried by her first album.

“Tracy B Reloaded will intensify the message my first album carried. My first album was mainly about worshipping and praising God. But when you listen to my new album, it includes songs that preach the gospel… It also talks about many societal problems such as poverty,” the song bird laments.

Tracy B, who wrote all the 14 songs on her new album says she does not sing for money or fame.

She notes, “I do it for the passion I have for music and for the ministry in general.”

Tracy B Reloaded is a jam packed album with songs such as, ‘Lesa Mukali’ which talks about the power of God while her second track of the album, ‘Lesa Atupanga’ (Translated as God is our creator) features Mark from B3.

When asked what her favourite track is on her new project, Tracy B singles out track 11, ‘Lelo Ni Lelo’ which means today is the day.

“My favorite track on the album is ‘Lelo Ni Lelo’ because I am quite sure the devil has no power over us and there is no way we can allow him to torment our lives. I believe the time to cast out the devil is now, I mean, today!” she emphasises.

Tracy B has worked with different people on her new album such as her husband and executive producer Baxter Moonga including other artistes such as Isent, Pethias and Naomi.

Meanwhile, Baxter Moonga calls on husbands to help their wives actualise their singing dreams as a true expression of love.

“Men out there should do everything possible to support their wives’ ministry, especially singing. Doing so is the greatest expression of love a husband can show to his wife. I produced my wife’s album because I love her like Christ loved the church,” he explains.

Tracy B’s album is expected to be launched this December.
