Established companies should help local artists- Rich Kay B

Richard Musesa popularly known as Rich Kay B is a n upcoming rapper whose music among others encourages youths to stay away from sexual activities

The rising star is signed under a record label called TRAVERSE MUSIC and has done songs such as FLEXING and DROP which features Lj mojo.

Rich Kay B whose hobbies include swimming, playing soccer and rapping, is currently a second-year student at Zambia Center for Professional Training and Consultancy (ZCTC) studying Journalism and public relations.

“I started doing music at the age of 12 and am also inspired by artists such Slap Dee and Mark 2, I also write my own music and read a lot of books to have a wide vocabulary,” he added.

Beyond his music, Rich Kay B is also a journalist and designs websites. He also has plans  to start running a clothing line business and is yet to work on the name which he intends will be creative.

Rich Kay B hopes to work with well established artists like Slap Dee and Mark 2, and further sees himself as an international artist in the next five years but focused into business and running his own music label. He advises his fans and the youths out there to read a lot and to work hard and archive what they believe in.

He has urged established companies to assist talented upcoming artists to shoot international quality videos that can play on music channels like MTV and Channel O and BET Entertainment TV because some local artists are not able to shoot good quality videos to view on international channels as a result of lack of resources.

Rich Kay B further advised local artists to continue working together in order for the music industry to keep moving forward.
