With the Africa Netball Championships around the corner the Zambia national Women’s Netball Team have stepped up their preparations at their training camp in Lusaka.
The Women’s Netball national team coach Charles Zulu said the team is well prepared and is training very hard to emerge victorious in the championship tourney slated for Uganda.
“The Team is prepared and will continue with the atmosphere of hard work. It has been five weeks of training now and the ladies are goal-oriented and working tirelessly in a non-residential camp.”
Zulu added that he was confident that his team will triumph at the African championship in Uganda where 10 other countries are expected to participate.
The championships will be played in a round-robin format where each team in the competition will play against every other team.
Zambia is one of the teams participating and preparing for the African championships which are set to run from 24 to 30th of June, 2017 in Uganda. Zimbabwe are the current African Netball champions.
