The event will run from 23rd to 24th May, 2015.
University of Zambia (UNZA) Scrabble Association President George Kabwe told the Lusaka Star in an interview that the event is a good opportunity for young Zambian upcoming players as it will enable them gain exposure.

And Chairman Sydney Kalema revealed that the comptition will have various prizes to be won in different categories.
“Other categories would be given to those who will have high scoring point games such as best player of the tournament and highest scoring word made. The best players will have an opportunity to represent Zambia in the international competition next year,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Mr. Kalema said there is an improvement in the way the players are playing now and he has hope that the team will scoop a better position in next East, Central and Southern Africa championship.
