Soccer Analyst Andrew Musonda has placed his belief in the Zambia National Soccer Team after they beat Malawi in a preparatory match ahead of the upcoming COSAFA tournament to be hosted by South Africa.

In an interview with the Lusaka Star, Mr. Musonda said he believes the Chipolopolo Boys will deliver at the tournament if they maintain their performaace.

Mr. Musonda said that the performance displayed by the team was satisfactory and proved the critics wrong.

He added that the technical bench should not relax with the preparations as the tournament will begin in a few week's time.
Meanwhile, Soccer Fan Luckson Mubanga observed  that the boys have already shown their potential, what remains is for them to stay focused until the end of the tournament.

And Zambia National Soccer Team Coach Honour Janza has called on his players not to be complacent following his side’s 2-0 international friendly win over Malawi at Lusaka Nkoloma Stadium on Sunday.

Speaking in a post-match interview, Mr. Janza expressed happiness with the way the boys played in the game.

Mr. Janza said the win should, however, build morale in the players ahead of the COSAFA tournament this month and the Africa cup qualifiers later this year.

Zambia beat Malawi 2-0 with the first goal scored by Power Dynamos defender Christopher Munthali while Zesco United’s Kondwani Mtonga scored the second with a header.

Zambia is set to open its COSAFA tournament campaign on 25 th May, 2015 when it plays the winner of group A which comprises Namibia, Seychelles, Mauritius and Zimbabwe.
