VOLLEYBALL GAMES TO HIT UP AT SAMFYA BEACH

Twenty-five schools have so far confirmed participation in the Zambia Volleyball Association’s (ZAVA) second tour of the Samfya Beach slated for Friday.

According to a statement issued to Lusaka Star by ZAVA General Secretary Gift Chesekela, the tour will include 11 elite teams with a guest team from Botswana.

Chesekela said five corporate entities have also indicated participation, with Samfya District Hospital providing a large share of participants.

He said that there is already a team working on the volleyball courts, and that the rest of the delegation should be joining them this afternoon.

Chesekela said there is expectation of having a more exciting tour as it is among other activities that will be happening at the beach.
