EAGLES NOT INTIMIDATED BY PIRATES – SAUTU

GREEN Eagles Midfielder Spencer Sautu says his side is not intimidated by Orlando Pirates going into the second leg of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League.

Sautu scored the only goal of the match when Eagles beat Orlando Pirates 1-0 in the first leg of the competition played on Saturday at Nkoloma Stadium.

Speaking in an interview with the Lusaka Star, Sautu said Orlando Pirates pressing match will make them vulnerable in defines and Green Eagles would capitalise on that aspect to eliminate them from the prestigious competition.

And Sautu said he did not have a chance to chat with Pirates Zambian star trio of Justin Shonga, Augustine Mulenga and Austin Muwowo after the match.

Meanwhile, Eagles stand-in Captain Sam Chilupe had assured the nation that the Zambia National Service sponsored side would get a favourable result in South Africa.

And Eagles Coach Aggrey Chiyangi had ruled out playing a defensive match in the return leg stating that his team was going to South Africa to chase for goals.
