Youths advised to balance between Human Rights and responsibilities.

No one should be held accountable of the bad behavior the youths are portraying, not the parents, or anyone in society-Ms Malindi Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) has called on the youths to balance between human rights and responsibility.

YMCA Ndola Secretary General Ngosa MalindiĀ  said in an interview that young people have lost direction and this has led to high criminal offences among the youths.

ā€œYouths have to understand their rights and also balance these rights with responsibility in orders to reduce criminal offences in our Country.ā€ she said.

Ms Malindi said there is need for youths to be visionary if they are to become leaders.

She further said Zambia has a lot of youths that are repeatedly involved in bad vices because they do not understand their responsibility in society and are dazed with human rights.

She added that there is no one to be held accountable of the bad behavior among the youths because it also affected the parents and the society.

ā€œNo one should be held accountable of the bad behavior the youths are portraying, not the parents, or anyone in society.ā€ she said.

Ms Malindi also said she is impressed with some of the young people that have reformed after receiving sensitisation from YMCA and thanked the people who spent their time to sensitive these youths.

She said it is the wish of YMCA to stretch its services to other cities in the country and not only in Ndola where it is at the moment.
