Mapalo Mulenga was recently crowned Miss Pageant Zambia 2015 after outshining 10 other contestants at Lusaka’s Diamond Casino on 31st October, 2015. she is now set to represent Zambia at the Miss Hope International beauty pageant to be held on 5th December, 2015 in South Africa. Mapalo says she is honoured to have been chosen to represent Zambia at the upcoming pageant.
She says she has confidence she will do well despite the competition being stiff.
“I am honoured to be Zambia’s representative. I am going to do my best to make my country proud,” she states.
The 18 year old model discloses preparations for the event are going on well.
Mapalo will contest with models from six other countries that are participating.
Other countries that will participate in the event are Australia, Botswana, Germany, Japan, Namibia and South Africa.

The young model, who attended St. Stephen Girls’ School is currently working at Best Western Plus hotel as Guest Relations Officer whilst waiting to go to university next year.
