Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Communications Manager Sydney Mungala has expressed interest in the upcoming ABSA Cup match between Power Dynamos the current MTN super league champions and the runner up Red Arrows which is scheduled to take place on 9th April at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
In an interview with Lusaka Star, Mungala said that this years’ ABSA Cup is going to feature the best two teams in the Zambian Super League who are lying first and second in the league.
“Winning the ABSA Cup for both will be a status statement, they both have players who are in good form and have carried them in the tournament”.
He noted that both teams are in good conditions which proves that the game is going to be one of the best games this year.
Meanwhile Sports Analysts Lucky Chama Mwewa said the match is going to be a tricky game because both teams have done so well in the season
Mwewa stated that in terms of momentum power Dynamos has it and in terms of experience Red Arrows has it.
“Many of the fans will be on the Dynamos side and Red arrows have to rise to the occasion if they are to win and a win will be a shocker considering the calliber in this seasons,” Mwewa said.
