NKANA MAKES IT THROUGH TO CAF CONFEDERATION CUP QUARTER FINALS

DESPITE being beaten 4 – 1 by Al Hilal of Sudan in the game that took place on Sunday, 17th March at the Al Hilal Stadium in Sudan, Nkana FC still made it to the quarter finals of the CAf Confederation Cup.

Nkana was lucky to qualify all thanks to the results from previous games, finishing second in Group C with nine points while Al Hilal came first with 11 points.

While Ronald Kampamba remained content with his place on the bench for most of the game, Beston Chambeshi went for a defensive line up with Walter Bwalya during the game.

Al Hilal had already scored two goals 20minutes into the game. Sharaf Abdelrahman was first to score five minutes into the game against while Waleed Hamid doubled their lead.
Nkana was unable to score any goals before the halftime whistle and only came out strong in the second half when Walter Bwalya scored.

The match ended in the 77th minute when Idris Mbombo scored the fourth goal for Al Hilal. Zambians remain hopeful and positive considering that they made it to quarter finals
