DONATION OF ROBOTIC TABLE TENNIS EQUIPMENTS ELATES NSCZ

THE National Sports Council of Zambia (NSCZ) has commended the Japanese government for donating state of the art table tennis tools which are equipped with training robots to Zambia.

Speaking in an interview on Tuesday, NSCZ acting general secretary Raphael Mulenga said the donation of the equipment will go a long way in developing the sport in the country.

“We would like to thank the Japanese government for the donatiom of table tennis equipment that have come with training robots. This is a good development for the sport as it will cater for a lot of young people who are interested in the game but lack training tools,” Mulenga said.

Mulenga however said only the best players will be considered to use the equipment.

He further hailed the relationship Zambia and Japan shares in various sports

“The Japanese government has rendered tremendous support to the National Sports Council of Zambia to ensure that various sports disciplines in the country are developed and we are grateful for the cooperation that they have showed to us,” said Mulenga.
