ZANACO FC HAPPY LOANING OUT PLAYERS- KANADA

Zanaco Football Club says the loaning out of the team’s 9 players is a way of giving the players more game time.
Speaking in an interview with Lusaka Star, Club Chairman Mallon Kanada said they allows the players to rekindle their careers.
Mr. Kanada said this action is also an economic issue as they are not being paid their salaries which helps the team in managing wage bills.
He further explained that the act to loan out players will not affect the performance of the team in the coming season as they have replacement players.
“Our squad is a big squad, even with the players being loaned out, we are still remaining with close to 32 players,” he said.
Mr. Kanada added that the team is in Livingstone getting ready and preparing itself.
“By the time the season is kicking off they will be ready to start,” he said.
Meanwhile, Soccer Analyst, Lubinda Nguleka said the loaning out of players by Zanaco FC is a mistake.
Mr. Nguleka said this because players being loaned out such as Lawrence Chungu were key to the Zanaco team.
“Looking at the defensive midfield position, they have loaned out a player by the name of Christone Jere, if given a good chance to be able to play many games ,he would be one of the players we are most likely to depend on not only at national level but even at local level as well,” he said.
The Soccer Analyst said the decision made may cost the team.
However, he added that Zambians should wait and see what exactly they are trying to do to the team.
