FOREST RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB AWARDED 3 POINTS… AS POWER DYNAMOS HUMILIATE ZANACO

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Player Status Committee has awarded three points to Forest Rangers Football Club over a dispute in which Nkwazi Football Club had allegedly fielded an ineligible player for a week one fixture in Lusaka at Edwin Imboela Stadium.

According to the judgment by the committee, Nkwazi FC was found guilty of using an ineligible player, Peter Shadrick Mayembe who was not registered with the club against Article 11 of the FAZ Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players.

And in this match, Nkwazi beat Forest 1-0 to claim the three points but the result has overturned with Forest Rangers being awarded the full points with a 3-0 scoreline.

The league department has thus reduced Nkwazi Football Club’s points tally by three and added it to the Forest Rangers Football Club moving them to 6th place on the log with 21 points.

Meanwhile, in today’s match 11 December, 2019, Power Dynamos FC  recorded a 3-0 win against Sensational Zanaco FC in their week 11 game played at Heroes Stadium to move to the eighth position with 17 points.

Power Dynamos FC midfield maestro Larry Bwalya scored a brace in the 37th and 47th minute while Fredrick Mulambia scored the last goal in 60th minute.

While hosts Green Eagles FC defeated visitors Kansanshi Dynamos FC with a 2-0 score in an early fixture, which started at 14:00 hours with striker Tapson Kaseba scoring both goals in the 38th and 73rd minute respectively.

Today’s victory has seen Eagles jump to 4th place on the log with 23 points while Kansanshi Dynamos have maintained their 12th position with 13 points.
