FAZ should work with club coaches to improve the team’s recent poor performance FORMER Copperbelt Zambia National Team Supporters Association Chairperson, Humprey Ngulube, has advised Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) to find a solution to the national team's continued poor performance.
Ngulube said in an interview that FAZ should seek help from the Coaches Association of Zambia to improve the team’s recent poor performance.
Ngulube said there was need for FAZ to learn to hear from players adding that players should also listen to their coaches.
“FAZ should learn to hear from players what is affecting them psychologically, this is very important,” he said.
Ngulube also advised FAZ and coaches to ensure that they put players who are physically fit on the lineup .
“The coaching staff have a tendency of choosing unfit players as it was noticed in the match against Lesotho where most of our players were unfit,” he said.
Ngulube also advised players to understand their coaches as well as put the interest of the nation at heart.
“What the National team should know is that they are using the tax payers’ money and that the general public is not happy with their current performance,” said Ngulube.
Ngulube has since urged FAZ to select the team players in consultation with the respective player’s club coaches.
