REDUCE MEALIE MEAL PRICES-UPND

The United   Party   for National Development (UPND) has expressed concern on the current high mealie meal selling prices in the country.

In a press statement made available to the Lusaka Star, UPND Secretary General, Stephen Katuka said that president Lungu and his cabinet should find a way of reducing mealie meal price which is sky rocketing than travelling around the country.

“The country has an absentee president who has no grain of knowledge on what should be done to address the problems facing the majority Zambians,” Mr. Katuka said.

The UPND has advised government not to engage in propaganda with the economy when citizens were struggling with poverty.

UPND Secretary General assured Zambians that his party was very much ready to fix the economy if given chance in 2021.
