The PF in Southern Province has expressed satisfaction with the distribution of inputs for the 2018/2019 farming season across the region.
Southern Province Information and Publicity Secretary Trywell Mwenda says the exercise is on course and nearing completion way ahead of the start of the rainy season.
Mr Mwenda said that the timely distribution of inputs this season is consistent with Government’s priority and agenda to transform the agriculture sector to become the country’s major foreign exchange earner.
He called on farmers in Southern Province to begin to prepare their fields and accessing inputs in readiness for the commencement of the farming season as the Meteorological department has forecast that rains are to start this month
