NKOLOMA WARD COUNCILOR HANDS OVER KUKU GROUNDS TO COMMUNITY

NKOLOMA Ward One councilor Tasila Lungu has handed over the newly built multi-purpose sports facility  to her community.

Speaking during the handover ceremony on Friday last week, Ms. Lungu said the project had posed many challenges during its construction.

She said it was  due to the commitment, determination and hard work of many that the multipurpose facility was successfully completed.

“It is with great humility that today we handover Kuku Ground to the people of Nkoloma Ward 1, Chawama Constituency. I look forward to many more champions in various sports disciplines emerging from our great community,” she said.

Ms Lungu said she is looking forward to seeing more athletes being produced from the facility adding that the ground is for the community to enjoy and benefit from.

Meanwhile, Lusaka mayor Miles Sampa urged the youths in the area to utilise the facility to the fullest so that they can enhance their careers in sports.
