THREE NEWLY ELECTED PF CIVIC LEADERS SWORN IN

Kaoma District Council Deputy Chairperson Mupishi Kausheni has called on the newly sworn in Kaoma civic leaders to represent the interests of the people who have elected them into office.

Those sworn-in as councillors are Hamulondo Hampande for Chitwa ward. Enelesi Nyirenda for Mangango central ward and Mwenzala Munyikwa for Kanabilumbu ward.

This is contained in a press statement made available to the media by Kaoma district Town Council Public Relations Officer Mike Daka.

“The three civic leaders who have been elected under the Patriotic Front (PF) ticket took oath today in the Council Chamber and have solemnly promised to execute their duties diligently,” Mr Daka said.

The ruling Patriotic Front won all the ward by-elections following the resignation of the three United Party for National Development (UPND) councillors in Kaoma central constituency in Western province.
