Poetry: Era of the hit and runs

So many girls with broken hearts One wonders if they are all genuine all they just claim So many girls with broken hearts
One wonders if they are all genuine all they just claim.

I met this girl named Barbra
Said her boyfriend left her with a broken heart,
Cause of Sandra?
Charming her while eating her friend up like lasagna…
She told me the day she find out her mind tripped like she stepped on a banana.

So many girls with broken hearts
One wonders if they are all genuine all they just claim.
Last night was at a pub with a girl named Sasha
She said she dated a guy who was full of drama.
While telling her she was the ONE
He was in fact two timing her
With an Indian chick called Leesha.

So many girls with broken hearts
One wonders if they are all genuine all they just claim.

Some are thick and fabulous, some Small and beautiful,
Soft skins, sweet lips, cheeks so cheeky,
Brown skins, Dark chocolate dipped skins, light skins, all manner of skins.

They want the romance they don’t want to commit.
Maybe its the era of the hit and runs and the forgotten hits.
