Chipolopolo Gears up to Face World Champions 

Five players from the diaspora among them patson Daka have successfully landed in the country  in preparation for an international friendly against reigning world champions, the Argentina national football team.

‎Other players include Kingston Mutandwa,Chanka Zimba,Pascal Phiri and David Simukonda.

‎Speaking during an interview with the media at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, striker Patson Daka says the match presents a crucial chance for the team to grow, not only as players but also as a nation.

‎”It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us, not only for the team but also for the nation,” Daka said.

“This is no ordinary game, we know how important this game will be to help us develop as a team.”

‎Daka added that this match also presents the opportunity for the players and the nation to gain recognition on the global stage.

‎And Chipolopolo striker Kingstone Mutandwa, has called on fans to rally behind the team as they prepare to face the world champions, emphasizing the importance of national support in such a demanding fixture in response to the mixed feelings of excitement and caution.

‎”Our fans should support us first of all, as we are going to play with one of the best nations so far. Now as a team, we need to work hard to deliver for the nation. Said Mutandwa.

‎The upcoming friendly is expected to provide a crucial benchmark for Zambia as they continue to rebuild and strengthen the squad.
