MZA lacks funding – Mchenga

The Motorcross Zambia Association(MZA) has called on well wishers to fund the association ahead of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) Africa Motorcross Nationals scheduled for August in South Africa.

MZA Representative, Misheck Mchenga said due to lack of funding, the association is facing many challenges such as lack of transportation and equipments.

“ I believe that as an association , we should be able to cater for our national team and we can only do that if we could have a good number of people rendering financial support,” Mr Mchenga said.

He however said the preparations for the FIM Africa Motocross Nationals are going well as the team keeps improving.

“ I am glad that the training is producing good results and if we continue with the training, we will win the competition,” MZA Secretary said.

Meanwhile, Mubanga Bowa a motocross fan said that he is hopeful that the team will perform well ahead of the competition.

“The national team should prepare as hard as they can so that they can deliver to nation a great performance,” Mr Bowa said.

The motocross fan added that the team should prepare adequately as the competition will be stiff.
