Zambia Premier League team Nkana Football Club has delivered a total of 2,806 stadium seatsto Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, which are now awaiting installation.
The club revealed this development this morning.
In April 2025, Nkana supporters allegedly destroyed over 2,000 stadium seats during the Kitwe Derby between Nkana and Power Dynamos.
This incident occurred after a late penalty was awarded to Power Dynamos, sparking unrest among Nkana fans at the stadium.
Nkana FC publicly condemned the unruly actions and issued an apology, pledging to replace the damaged seats.
