Musician Obed Chileshe, popularly known as Chile One Mr Zambia, is making waves with his latest album Eagle One, which has garnered over 6 million views on YouTube and more than 500,000 streams on Spotify since its release on July 12, 2025.
The album, which features six music videos, has received widespread praise from fans, with many describing it as a powerful comeback that blends emotional storytelling with strong production value.
Appearing on Kenny T 1 on 1 Podcast, Mr. Chileshe explained the inspiration behind the album, highlighting the symbolism of the eagle on the Zambian flag and its connection to his personal journey.
“The album title Eagle One is just a reminder to me that, just like an eagle doesn’t flee from storms but rises above them, I choose to navigate challenges by rising above them, even after going through tough times,” he said.
Mr. Chileshe noted that the album reflects a period of self reinvention, during which he took a break from social media to focus on personal growth and artistic development.
“Just as an eagle sheds its feathers and waits for new ones to grow so it can soar again, I took time away from the spotlight to rebuild myself. The outcome has been massive,” he added.
The album consists of songs such as Remember Me, Vacancy, Mukaimwena Mweka and Tekantemba (Company Ni Company) among others.
These songs have contributed significantly to the album’s appeal, with netizens praising both the lyrical depth and high quality production.
