WATER BLUES AT KAUNDA SQUARE PRIMARY SCHOOL TO END SOON – LUO

Munali Member of Parliament Prof Nkandu Luo has assured Kaunda Square Primary School teachers in Munali Ward 33 that water problems currently being faced at the school will soon come to an end.

She further implored the teachers commence working as she is on a quest to help find a solution to the water situation at the school.

She said that a well-wisher has already been found and what is remaining is to organize for logistics to put up a borehole.

The lawmaker said that one thing to note is that it is difficult to sink boreholes because the water table is no longer close to the surface due to the effects of climate change.

Meanwhile, Prof Luo has challenged teachers at the primary school to venture into individual income-generating projects.

Prof. Luo added that her office has a lot of activities and is working hard to engage different stakeholders in order to help supplement whatever they are getting at the end of the month.
