THE University of Zambia, Great East Road Main campus, has entered into a Public Private Partnership (PPP) with Graduare Property Development Limited in order to undertake a three in one infrastructure development project. University of Zambia (UNZA) Public Relations Manager Mulenga Musepa told the Lusaka Star in an interview that this project was the first of its kind in UNZA’s history.

The Bank of Zambia has intensified its nationwide campaign aimed at sensitizing the public on the rebasing of the local currency. Bank of Zambia Manager for Communications and Protocol Besnat Mwanza revealed that the central bank has deployed a ten man team to educate the public on the process of rebasing.
THE Lusaka City Council has challenged members of the public to take keen interest in the implementation of the 'Keep Zambia Clean Campaign' to ensure its success. Body Building veteran, Choola Chilongo, says body building is as good as any other sport and has the potential to grow into a big sporting activity. A TEAM of sports and medical experts from the United States of America (USA) is expected to arrive in the country to conduct clinical workshops for local medical and sports personnel. The programme, slated for October 25, will be held at Lusaka’s Olympic Development Centre (OYDC) and is expected to attract team doctors from various sport clubs as well as coaches and technicians from various sports disciplines.
THE Acting Chief Justice has encouraged the general public to take advantage of the efficient approach of the Small Claims Court in hearing cases. Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony for Commissioners of Small Claims in Lusaka, Justice Lombe Chibesakunda said since its establishment in 2009, the Small Claims Court has proved to be very effective in the disposal of cases with monetary value not exceeding K20million Kwacha.
