In the recent years, the Fashion Industry in Zambia has grown faster than ever before with
East Park Mall Construction Workers have complained about the unsafe conditions of their working environment. Construction Worker Felix kangwa revealed that most of them work without safety wear which puts their health at risk and is contrary to the laws of Zambia. Mr Kangwa complained that he feels sick while on duty due to him working without the safety wear.
The University Of Zambia (UNZA) management has warned gown traders to avoid duplicating the new patented graduation gowns. In an interview with Lusaka star, UNZA Public Relations officer Stanslous Chewe said management has patented the graduation gowns to curb unauthorised reproduction. Mr Chewe said the general pattern of the undergraduate gowns has been changed and the official logo slightly altered.

As one walks into a clothing store to pick an item of clothing, one can see various designs ranging from simple to outrageous all in the name of creativity. The fashion industry is getting extremely competitive as designers strive to remain on top of the game, but some of these designs seem to be overdoing it.
