A Zambian novelist based in the United Kingdom has stormed the world of literature with her third captivating novel titled ‘Silent Wives’. In an interview with the Lusaka star, 27 year old Chisanshi Malama says ‘Silent wives’ is her way of sending a message to the women and men of Zambia. Malama who is an undergraduate law student from De-montfort University notes in her book.

NATIONAL Arts Council chairperson Mulenga Kapwepwe has said her association is working towards setting up a national film fund. Ms. Kapwepwe says the film fund will help local film makers finance their projects and encourage them produce more films. Rita Chiyayika ZAMBIA Fashion Week organiser and Afro Multi Media Productions director, Karen Nakawala has confirmed October 17 to 19 as the official date for this year’s Zambia Fashion Week.
