THE Zambia Judo Association (ZJA) President Alfred Foloko has called on the Zambian people to appreciate the sport of Judo more. Speaking inan interview with Lusaka Star, Mr Foloko lamented that the sport Judo is not very much cherished in the country like other sports such as soccer and boxing. "The Zambian Judokas need appreciation and encouragement from the local people for them to keep representing the country well and with high esteem,” he said.

Zambia Judo Association (ZJA) president has expressed happiness over the rapid development of judo in the country. In an interview with the Lusaka star, Judo president Alfred Foloko said he was happy with the positive improvement of judo both at the local and international level. “The current trend of the sport is impressive but we wish to improve further so that we can reap medals both locally and internationally” Foloko said.
