Arrows ready for Charity Shield Final

Red Arrows F.C will face Nkana F.C in the Samuel Zoom Ndlovu charity shield tie THE 2005 Zambian Charity Shield winners, Red Arrows F.C are ready for their forth-coming final clash against the MTN Super League Champions Nkana F.C in the Samuel Zoom Ndhlovu charity shield tie.

The match which is slated for the 22nd of February this year will be hosted at Arthur Davis Stadium in Kitwe.

In an interview with the Lusaka Star, Red Arrows team captain and recently crowned 2013 Zambian footballer of the year, Bronson Chama said the team was well prepared for the match.

“We are almost done with the preparations for the match against Nkana and we hope to put up a great challenge against the champions,” he said.

Meanwhile, Red Arrows team caretaker coach Charles Kafula said his team's management was doing its best to ensure that players were ready and fit for the encounter adding that the match will be tightly contested.

“The match won’t be an easy one considering that Nkana are league champions and have got good players,” he explained.

“We also strengthened our rivals by selling them one of our key players Bruce Musakanya,” Kafula added.

But the interim coach urged the players to work hard and emerge victorious at the Charity Shield tie.

Kafula further urged the Arrows fan’s to turn out in numbers to support their team.
