A group of University of Zambia (UNZA) students have built a concrete bridge at UNZA’s Kalingalinga entrance in a bid to help students residing in Kalingalinga compound. Mutala Maipambe, Jolezya Chungu, Chilekwa Soma and Ceaser Mufuzi came up with the initiative after realizing that students residing in Kalingalinga had difficulties coming into campus during the rainy season.

Students at the University of Zambia have bemoaned the late delivery of the laptops by Mecer Zambia after having the money debited from their meal and book allowance.   But Mecer Zambia has clarified that the delay had come about because the agreement was for the laptops to be delivered to registered students by Mecer within ten working days of receipt of the compiled and screened list by the Bursaries Committee.
